A Safe Place to Stabilize, Regain Focus

and Move Toward a Brighter Future

At LIVELIHOOD NGO-USA INC, we believe that safe and stable housing is an important foundation for human dignity, well-being and economic independence.

Addressing Complex Challenges

Homelessness is more than the absence of a permanent address. People experiencing homelessness or housing instability may also face depression, anxiety, trauma, persistent worry, unemployment, financial hardship, health-related needs, family difficulties and other barriers.

Living without a safe and stable place can make these difficulties even harder to manage. LIVELIHOOD's Housing Stability & Homelessness Response is designed around a simple principle: before people can successfully plan for tomorrow, they may first need a safe environment in which to stabilize, regain a sense of security and consider their next steps.

“A safe and stable environment can give people the opportunity to calm down, regain hope, and make a plan for a better future.”
