Agriculture remains the biggest source of employment in rural areas. Unfortunately, this sector is not yet well developed to encourage young people to be massively involved. Our focus therefore is on:

• The promotion of agricultural based income-generating activities (AIGA) with emphasis on the specialized sartorial production of crops and animals. For example, a chain of farmers specialized only in mushroom production, vegetable production, maize, small ruminant, poultry, and others to maximize production and productivity which will result to high income for the producers and ensure food security by having constant availability of food locally.

• Increased agricultural productivity and improved storage methods.

 

• Ensure access to improved agricultural methods and technologies through collaboration with other institutions.
